Blue Hole
Famous Blue Hole only 5 meters from the shore has 100 meters in diameter. It’s an abyss connected with open sea by a huge vaulted arch gate with its top at the depth of 55 meters. It drops down to a hundred meter depth. It’s a magnificent view up the arch when you see the beams of the afternoon sun running down through the water.
Ras Abu Gallum
A usual place of visit for camel safaris. Abu Gallum is a reservation with a small beduin village on the shore. There are several interesting diving spots here.
The Bells
A beautiful wall north of Blue Hole with many kranses and small caves and corals. This locality is within walking distance from Blue Hole.
The Canyon
Canyon is about 80 meters from the shore and it begins at the depth of 15 meters with a small cave dropping down to 50 meters. The cave’s ceiling is about 10 meters high closed almost all the way down.
Eel Garden
A sandy downhill, with thousands of eels sticking out of it moving in a mild current, surrounded with a beautiful coral wall with many fishes.
Lighthouse
A great spot for first dives as well as night dives. Enterable right from a sandy beach. A small coral wall verges into a sandy downhill with a labyrinth of huge rocks. Large fish and turtles can be met here.
The Islands
Probably the most beautiful place considering the corals. Underwater garden and coral labyrinths around two underwater islands. Calmer lagoon is a home of a small barracudas shoal.
Three Pools
Large shallow locality with many corals verging into a wall with many gorgonian flabellum. Entrance through three shallow lagoons.
